Morfnoc-non

Morfnoc-non

Ideas rain from sleeves mounted where hearts leap,
From chests rigged from a yoke, once warmed in sleep.

"Born into air to fight for dreams" we are told in whispers,
Foot steps of the herd, heavy down the happy whistlers.

Mountains to climb become rocks on heads you see,
The legs we wear feet upon, are seen to grow steady.

And seeds planted there so we can run from the mound,
From under the rock placed down, instead we go round and round.

Life given so preciously, to grow, we seek nothing but this verity,
For all our time, we wonder what time is, and was, and will be with sincerity.

Human hands are tied to dance with the limbs in hypnotic tune,
Whilst time ticks on to its own melody, our lives are not immune.

To this dance in black and white, there’s only two ways a-street,
Let's walk a new parallel, against the grain, splinter we shall meet.

The tide is pulling from the dead, the time pulling at our strings,
Cut the cord, walk into the sea to be born of your own wings.

Inside the soul is a plant to nurture, give it all you have and muster,
Alike the clam upon the bed, we human each have a pearl to cluster.

7 at Sea

A floating tail wagging, a hound gently waiting
A tiger hiding ‘hind tall grass, what was he debating?

Orange was the cat, observing upon a tree
Full-moon wolf lingering, lofty to the side of thee

Above in tidal skies, washed the dog-wolf together
There were two bound, another running from the weather

As it were, the storm did brew t’ward the sand
Canine a gait with horses wild and an orca band

Avowal, ye giant whale amidst the vagrant abyss,
Purple thunder, melting the snow tops and tips.

He melted too, enveloped in the lips of Mother Nature,
Mammals the same, washed, animals the same, a  capture.

For only minutes had gone to pass, in skies at seven,
Adorned by blue eyes looking to the never.

Looking to the always, pastel greys turned the pages
Alike caressing ripples from the cryptic sea of ages.

Coral rain besprent the canvas for less than hours
For another story be writ, in the eight o’clock showers.

A Warrior.

Part 1.

In water was the warriors heart a slumber
Body walking the terrain under rowed lumber

Longside was Mr Soul in thought to the trail
Deeper we go, don’t fell, don’t fall, don’t snail.

In metal cities were fellows who felled hither
Warriors bodies ‘scaped only by a whiskered slither

Trees a falling on babes in sight of Soul
No arms, no legs, to grab, to reach, to hold

Wake up Warrior heart, from watery sleep
Tell thy body to rescue kin in woeful weep

Cries on wind rustled, to leaves, to trunks, to dirt
Earth vibrations roused love in his heart alert.

Part 2

Love was swimming, in the sleep pool soundless
Leaking from deflated lungs, awoken boundless

Strings wept a melody, taken by the currents rocky
Down the river, where man hath been in his body

Walked with sounds of the crunching screams
Pine whispered acoustics across hearts dreams

T’ward the warmth of his beating vessel, did he float
And 'neath the shrubs green, he lay into his heart coat

Aroused alike the living dead, in a forest humming
Soul stood by the babes just alive, but ears drumming

Body grabbed his heartstrings, and sat upon a mound
To strum a song, to save these babes with sound

...

Part 3

Words brewing a rainbow storm, sung in the letter  A
Murmuring thunder crashing, where lightning did stray

Down watercolour rivers washed Mr Soul to the shore
Thy deed was done now heart, take off your armour.

For mother and for babes, they rest now with ease
Painted flesh in flowering violets, scented on the breeze

Breast door open wide, flora ran a love-course in veins
Down hills 'yon the nesting birds, trickling across the plains

Standing in a silent stillness, all in one he had become
A gentle blink, slight water kink and a steady beating drum

Because body met his heart, and soul reached his eyes
Forest once in despair, now flourished under blue skies.
